THE BEYOND 6 SECONDS PODCAST

WITH CAROLYN KIEL

About the Podcast

Welcome to the Beyond 6 Seconds podcast, which shares extraordinary stories from everyday people.
In each episode, host Carolyn Kiel interviews people from all walks of life whose creativity and entrepreneurship make the world a better place.
We talk candidly and openly about the challenges they’ve faced, the ups and downs in their journeys, and how they’ve achieved their goals.
Listeners will be inspired by their uplifting stories of life and creativity, triumph and struggle, and appreciate the lessons learned that they share.

WHY BEYOND 6 SECONDS?

In this busy world, we make first impressions very quickly.
For example, advertisers are starting to compete for our attention with 6 second ads.
One study even claims that recruiters only take about 6 seconds to review a job applicant’s resume and make a judgment about their skills!
In a world where things just seem to be speeding up, how do we slow down enough to get past that narrow 6-second window, to really learn about each other?
In our society’s rush to consume information as quickly as possible, what amazing and unique stories aren’t we really getting to hear?
That’s where this podcast comes in –- where together, we’ll go Beyond 6 Seconds to hear candid, inspiring stories of life and creativity, triumph and struggle.
